The National Museum

The National Museum of Thailand wasn’t so crowded as Chinatown, but it was kids day, so lots of activity. Lots of artifacts and history. And nice and cool on another blazing day. Helen on our tour said it’s not as hot as Sri Lanka was.

People pray/meditate here before viewing the history of Thailand.

The back of the Buddha base.

A king’s baby cradle.

A female god.

Carved elephant tusks.

The King’s throne.

It took 72 men to carry the king and the processional throne in parades

More money evident. There was no mention of how much land the Royal Family owned.
